I'd say that using the platform for the first time might have a bit of a high learning curve. CONSĭespite my overall satisfaction with Bill4Time, there is one thing that I find a little difficult. They are constantly helpful, knowledgable, and ready to help with any questions or problems I may have. Additionally, the Bill4Time team's superb customer service is deserving of praise. Another significant benefit is the capacity to provide comprehensive reports and invoices that may be modified. The online time tracking tool, which enables me to precisely record my billable hours from any location, and the expenditure monitoring option, which enables me to maintain an exact record of my business-related expenses, are two features I really value. I can easily handle every part of my law firm effectively because to the platform's user-friendly layout and smooth interaction with other tools. I value the extensive and simple capabilities it provides for time tracking, expenditure management, client administration, and invoice production most of all. I knew I had found the ideal method for running my law firm as soon as I began utilizing the platform. ![]() The CC and BCC field email recipients are not invited to the Client Portal.Overall, Bill4Time has been a fantastic experience for me. Please note: The "To" field is the only field that allows for recipients to be Invited to the Client Portal with the checkbox at the bottom of the screen. If you have an Email contained in both the Client level and at the Project/Matter level in the "Email" field, the Project/Matter level will override the Client "Email". This will allow you to easily send to multiple recipients. The system will allow for more than one email in this field if emails are separated by a semi-colon( ). If you would like for contact emails to be auto-populated in the "To" field of your invoice(s), you will want to update the "Email" field within the Client in the Client Details tab or the "Email" field within Project/Matter Details tab with the recipient email. ![]() Check the box to "Invite recipients to Client Portal" checkbox.Enter the email of the recipient in the "To" field.Click the blue "Email" button - the window below will open.Click on Invoicing via the top navigation bar or click on the desired invoice from the client/project.To email invoices and invite recipients to the Client Portal: In the Client field - Select a Client for whom this invite should pertain to.Ī really convenient way to invite your clients to the Client Portal is via the Email function within the invoice.In the Contact field - select OR enter an email address.Click on the Payments & Client Portal sub-tab.Click on your name at the top of the screen, the select Settings from the dropdown menu.If you are a System Admin with Firm Settings access - you can invite them via Settings: Inviting from Payments & Client Portal in Settings.You can invite your clients to the Client Portal two ways: In addition, they are also able to save a payment method for future use. When invited and accepted, they are able to review their account history details - including their past invoices and payment history. Inviting your clients to the client portal provides a more secure and robust experience for your end clients.
